Quantum physics tells us that everything in the universe is connected by a continuous field of energy, in fact, it is the "glue" that holds everything together. We are not only physical, emotional or mental beings, in fact, we are energetic and spiritual beings as well. How we manage our physical body, mind and emotions, as well as our life force energy and our spirit's connection to something greater, will determine our life experience and the quality of our lives. It is the quality and intention of our thoughts and perceptions that determine our reality. In this workshop, you will learn the connection between all these facets and why self-empowerment is the key.

A basic universal truth is that we have the POWER to CHOOSE how we will react to the events and situations in our lives, no matter what our circumstances are. It is the QUALITY of our CHOICES that determine how we experience life. Quantum Physics, the most precise science known to humankind, teaches us that reality is multi-faceted and as such, there are many possible paths and outcomes to our lives.

This is a 'bootcamp' because we will learn by the end of the bootcamp we control our own destiny to a large degree and that we are responsible for our own lives; we do not blame others for unhappiness in life. We are responsible for our own perceptions, for our own actions or inaction in life. You must take responsibility for your life, you must do the inner work. No one but you can do it. If you approach it with the right intention, mental energy and quality of action, it is no longer 'work.' The MindBodySpirit Bootcamp teaches you how to do this.

You will learn: Physical exercises based on ancient Yogic, Chinese and Tibetan techniques that increase your physical, mental and energetic levels; Meditation and self-hypnosis techniques that help you focus your mind; other exercises to help you release disempowering emotional patterns, mental blocks and stagnant energy; spiritual exercises that lead to self actualization and empowerment and an enriched connection to a power greater than yourself.

SCHEDULE:
Morning: Introduction; Kundalini moving meditation to release stagnant chi, boost physical and mental energy levels;

Mid-morning: Guided imagery technique to release old disempowering emotions and self-limiting beliefs. Ego-awareness exercise; Snack break (organic fruit and herbal beverages);
Weather permitting, Chi Gong techniques to increase chi on the Great South Bay in Patchogue.

Lunch (vegetarian, high-energy organic food)

Afternoon: Yoga stretching exercises to boost physical and mental energy levels; Buddhist meditation technique to focus your mind; Self-hypnosis technique to increase self-empowerment and eliminate negative self-talk;

Late afternoon: MindBodySpirit exercise and meditation to boost self-discipline required to attain the goals realized from this workshop.

Conclusion of workshop. Review of key concepts learned. CEU Certificate (7 hrs) for those who require it.

Your instructor: CHRISTINE LYNN HARVEY is a Certified Reiki Master/Teacher trained in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage which traces its roots directly to Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki. She also has studied Japanese Reiki Techniques with William Rand & Frank Arjava Petter. 

Christine is a NGH Certified Hypnotist specializing in sports performance, past life regression, phobias, smoking cessation, emotional blocks, weight loss, insomnia, pre & post-operative pain relief and hypnosis for self-healing. She also has training in Ericksonian Hypnosis and is a professional member of the National Guild of Hypnotists. She has certified training in sports hypnosis and athletic performance enhancement with Bob Reese, Ph.D., athletic trainer for the NY Jets for 25 years.

Christine also has: Clinical Training in Mind/Body Medicine from the Mind/Body Institute of Harvard Medical School, Cambridge, MA; Clinical Training in Guided Imagery from the Academy of Guided Imagery, Mill Valley, CA; and Certificates in Medical Botany and NLP. She has also studied with Tom Brown, famed wilderness survival instructor, and has studied Huichol shamanism with Brant Secunda.

Christine has studied Power Vinyasa Yoga with Baron Baptise, Hatha Yoga with Shiva Rea, Kundalini Yoga with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Jivamukti Yoga with Sharon Gannon and Maha Sadhana with Dharma Mittra.

Christine is Founder, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of New Living Magazine and is director and founder of the New Living Life Empowerment Center in Stony Brook, NY. She is a regular contributor to a variety of health and fitness magazines, newspapers and websites.
